Common questions

Quick answers

How do I log in to cPanel?

Go to yourdomain.co.za/cpanel and sign in with the username and password in your welcome email. If your domain isn't pointing to us yet, use the server link in that email instead.

I've forgotten my cPanel password.

Reset it from your client area under your hosting service. If you can't get into the client area either, contact us and we'll verify you and reset it.

My site shows 'Not secure'.

SSL installs automatically once your domain points to us, usually within an hour. If it's been longer, check that the domain's nameservers are ours, then contact us and we'll trigger it.

My emails are going to spam.

Check that the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are in your DNS. In cPanel go to Email Deliverability, and it will show any record that's missing with a button to fix it.

How do I restore a backup?

In cPanel open Backups, choose a date and restore your files, a database or a mailbox. If you'd rather not, ask us and we'll do it for you.

How do I pay or download an invoice?

Log in to your client area and open Billing. You'll see every invoice there, and can pay by card or EFT.

What are your nameservers?

Your welcome email lists the two nameservers for your account. Set them at your domain registrar to point your domain to 1208 Host.

Still stuck?

Send us a message and a person will reply within one business day, usually much sooner.
